Recently there has been a recall on Hand Sanitizers by Health Canada.
Certain hand sanitizers are being recalled from the market because they contain industrial-grade ethanol that has not been authorized for use in hand sanitizers in Canada.
We want to make sure our customer know that our Hand Sanitizer is approved by Health Canada, and does not contain industrial-grade ethanol. Echoclean uses pharmaceutical-grade ethanol that is safe for use on your hands. You can find us by referencing our Natural Product Number on the Health Canada website: NPN 80098530
Echoclean currently offers both a "Waterless Hand Cleanser" and "Hand Sanitizer".
The only difference between the two is the name. We had a very high demand for hand sanitizers due to Covid-19 and wanted to get the product available for our customers as soon as possible. In order to call our product a hand sanitizer we needed approval from the government, so we chose to call it a "Waterless Hand Cleanser" while we waited. We have since been approved and are working on switching over to just the "Hand Sanitizer" labels.
We apologize for any confusion our labeling may have caused, and if you have any further questions or concerns please let us know.
Kindest regards,
The Echoclean Team
